Dennis Doverspike, Ph.D.
Dr. Dennis Doverspike is the President of Doverspike Consulting, LLC. He is certified as a specialist in Industrial-Organizational Psychology and in Organizational and Business Consulting by the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP) and is a licensed psychologist in the State of Ohio.
Currently, Dr. Doverspike is the Part Time Director for the Center for Organizational Research at The University of Akron and is a full time and part time professor at The University of Akron as well. He does consulting psychology work for Poly-Tech Associates.
His career spans over forty years of experience with consulting firms working for and partnering with public and private sector organizations. Services provided include individual assessments, statistical analysis, development of large scale assessment systems, job evaluation and job analysis. He served as an expert witness in multiple court cases and assisted with the preparation of expert testimony in additional cases.
He received his Ph.D.in Psychology in 1983 from The University of Akron. His M.S. in Psychology is from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and his B.S. in Psychology from John Carroll University. He has taught courses at both the graduate and undergraduate levels, and directed dissertations, theses and practica.
The author of three books, he keeps current with workshops at which he has spoken on various topics relating to the workplace. He has also been published in 150 professional publications and presently is a blogger for IPMA-HR Assessment Services. He serves and has served on many university and departmental committees.
